How we work
Forward-deployed engineering, close to your work.
FDE stands for Forward Deployed Engineer. For us, it means the engineers who learn how your business works also build the solution, help put it into use, and follow through on the outcome with you.
Talk about your work1. Understand the work
We explore your day-to-day workflow and the tools around it, then agree on the problem worth solving. We talk with the people who do the work, clarify constraints, and make room for what is still unknown. Being close to the process helps us shape a solution around actual needs instead of assumptions.
2. Try it together
We shape the agreed scope into an early working version and review it with you. Feedback from real use helps reveal what is clear, what needs adjustment, and what should wait. Priorities remain shared decisions, and material changes to scope are reviewed before the work moves on.
3. Put it to work
When the solution is ready for its intended setting, we help connect it with the systems and people in scope. We follow how it works in everyday use and address agreed issues. If being on-site would help the collaboration, we can arrange that as part of the engagement; it is not a requirement for every project.
4. Assess the difference
We review the measures chosen with you at the start, such as time spent on a repeated task or fewer handoffs. We discuss what changed, what remains difficult, and whether another improvement is worthwhile. This review guides the next agreed step; it does not assume a particular result in advance.
A clearer view of ongoing work
Unfogy Workspace is intended to give you a straightforward view of progress, available releases, recorded effort, and applicable costs for your work. What is available depends on the engagement and current product capabilities. Your view is for your work; it is not a window into another customer’s information or internal technical records.
